Amanda Jones is a Freelance Artist based in Manhattan, New York. She attended the High School of Art and Design where she studied Illustration graduating in 2015 with a Barbara Fisher award in visual excellence, CTE certification, and alumni-ship at the Art Students League. She graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in 2023 with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts. Formerly contracted to Groundswell NYC as a Teaching Artist where she was involved in mural arts and education by assisting mural projects throughout different communities citywide! She is also the Illustrator for CHARISMA"S TURN By Monique Couvson, formerly known as Monique W Morris who is an award-winning author. On her off time, she dedicates her time to exploring her individuality through artistic concepts (preferably, oil-painting) being immersed in the world around her and within her. She has a never-ending dedication to helping others from a creative perspective and a deep artistic passion for all things creating a positive impact. She is currently on a profound journey where she balances her commitment to freelancing and her exploration of new horizons in Art and mental health care as she pursues a master's degree in Clinical Art Therapy hoping to become a Licensed Art Therapist by 2027. In the meantime, she is open to continuing freelancing and being involved in projects!
